Painting Tricks

Remember I am ADHD and prep work is the last thing I want to do. I want to get the color on the walls ASAP. So taping is not an option. Luckily there are these awesome paint brushes called Woodster. The Woodster angled brush works better at keeping a steady straight line than tape does. I can’t say you won’t have to touch up in a few areas but it beats spending an hour taping the room for you to still have to go back and touch up areas where the paint bleed through the tape. Don’t be discourage of the price of Woodster brushes they are a little pricey but I promise are well worth the cost.

I mentioned that the Woodster brushes are a little pricey. A good way to cut down on cost is to buy a brush for each color you are going to be painting with. When you need to take a break or are done for the day with a certain color instead of washing the brush place the brush in a zip lock bag. The brush will be ready to use for the next time you need to use it and you won’t have to worry if the brush is totally dried out. Once you are completely down with your paint project wash brushes with dish soap and warm water and store away for the next time you paint.
